Heart Saver CPR
Safety-Tec operate under a registered
training site with the Irish Heart
Foundation
Course objectives:
-
Candidates will be provided with
information about Heart Disease, heart
and lung function, risk factors for
Heart Disease, prudent heart living,
signs and symptoms of foreign body
airway obstruction, Heart Attack and
Cardiac Arrest.

Upon course completion candidates will
be fully competent in the provision of
one-rescuer Adult CPR and the management
of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO)
Certification and duration:
The course duration is approximately 4
hours. Successful participants will be
issued with an Irish Heart Foundation /
American Heart Association course
participation card. The maximum number of
participants on this course is six per
Instructor. The Instructor will be a
registered BLS Instructor with the IHF and
an Emergency Medical Technician.
